Investigations and Networking
in the Age of COVID19
INVESTIGATION WITHOUT INTERACTION
First, we hope that all of our friends and clients are taking the necessary precautions in the face of the global pandemic that is COVID-19. We have been following progressions closely and are following the best practices and corporate guidance as directed by the Centers for Disease Control.
While some of our business protocols will need to be adjusted, the majority will remain in place. As you may know, the investigation of a subject does not actually involve interaction with them.
The lion’s share of our work product, including asset searches, background reports, due diligence, social media research, and crisis management (among others) are all done electronically. In addition, most of our field investigations will continue.
We are looking forward to evolving with the times and continuing to provide superior services to you, our friends and clients.
WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO...
It's been a busy few weeks! We closed out February by attending the Elder Law Concert in Fort Lauderdale. The week after, we exhibited at the Florida Bar's iLaw2020, the International Law Section's Global Forum on International Law in Miami. Finally, we took part in the Dade County Bar Association's Bench and Bar Program in Coral Gables.
VIRTUAL NETWORKING THIS FRIDAY
Our new normal will involve much less face-to-face interaction than we at Crossroads are used to with our clients. To ease our withdrawals, our owner Marc Hurwitz, along with the Crossroads team, will be hosting a #CrossroadsCatchup on the next few Fridays from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. via Zoom (direct link here). While we will of course be fully operational as we "socially distance," these dedicated hours offer opportunities to network, ask questions, tell us about your business, learn from each other on adapting our businesses during this unique period, and strategize on areas where synergy exists.
